DIVORCE- what doesn't kill you can bring you back to life. I devoted my entire world to my first and only love. I was the good girl that settled down right after college and had saved myself for him up to my wedding night. I eventually came to understand that when you give a man a bottle and a badge -he thinks he's God. I learned that booze and bruises are no fair trade for unconditional love and devotion. I found the strength to let go and learn that the ideals of my mother and women before her were not right for me. It has taken me a long time but I am moving on. I have too much to offer to just sit on a shelf.
