Seeking Confident Confidant Variety in my life is a must.... I enjoy the outdoors, museums, amusement parks, fairs, antique shopping, love day trips and exploring, I am also guilty of people watching. I am the proud mother of two young adults and come late August my youngest heads to college. My family is very important to me and yours should be to you also!
I am looking forward to the change and going to take classes/work-shops, re-explore my life and find someone that can enjoy this part of my life with me. I am quite active, but need to focus more on my diet. I used to be a fanatic about my diet and walking but family issues took the fore-front [lost 2 close family members and another diagnosed with cancer] and I allowed my diet to go astray. Working on altering that, I hate this additional me, it will be gone. I love a good conversation, I enjoy watching sports [especially my son]. I have my own home, gainfully employed and what's missing is a partner in crime. I am looking to find someone that would like to be friends and see what may come....I am a great listener so I am told, love people and animals [I have dogs]. Love a good joke, have a quirky quick sense of humor, love surprises [giving and receiving]. I am not a nascar fan- watching a car go round and round and round, I don't get it! Now a good horse race and I am there. I love watching the strength and drive of a beautiful steed. I enjoy most movie genre's except Sci-Fi and Slasher. I like a movie that makes me think, makes me laugh or makes me cry... I do love the water, not a beach bum so to speak, when I go to the beach I am generally in the water, walking and/or investigating. Water Country and places like that are a blast. I grew up spending summers on the Cape and in Maine. I have travelled the US, Canada, Mexico and some Europe. In my spare-quiet time I do genealogy. I am primarily of Celtic ancestry, with a dash of German and a spritz of Native American. I am a redhead with blue-grey eyes, yes, I freckle.
