That warm lump beside me is gone - now what? I'm new to this (five months), so I've been through the good (taking the chick peas OUT of the shopping cart, because I never liked them anyway); the bad (woe is me ... suck it up, princess), and the ugly (oh I wasn't expecting company- for god sakes don't use the bathroom, look in the laundry room, check for dust mites ...).

I guess the glass-half-full attitude might be that, we (you and I?) are no longer rookies in love. It didn't come with an instruction manual, so we winged it as best we could. Hell, we didn't even know how to make OURSELVES happy when we first married, let alone that other person.

Now, we know what's what: sorry if you don't like country music ... I do, and it plays in my house (just for example). Selfish? Or just honest.

I think I need to find someone who doesn't have to be taught basic life skills. The young ones are pretty to look at, but if they're half a stupid as I used to be, no thanks!
