Lightning crashes and thunder rocks the earth. We both seek shelter and our desperation has led us here. A place of refuge that escapes the world we know. The wind has picked up. Street signs can be heard vibrating in the distance as trees scrape against the paned windows. We move closer to each other, a attempt to keep warm and safe.
